Construction of the National Police Academy in Ganthier (en)
The objective of the project is to contribute to improving public security in Haiti. The goal is to put in place the infrastructure and equipment necessary to train inspectors and commissioners of the Haitian National Police (HNP). Expected results: The National Police Academy is built, functional, and in conformity with the applicable standards; the Academy is equipped with the materials, equipment, and tools needed to function properly; the equipment and tools are properly used by trained technical and maintenance personnel; short-term jobs are created to build the Academy complex (for example: contractors' employees; providers of food, lodging, transportation, site monitoring; etc.); the access road to the Academy (1.2 km) is rehabilitated and bypass roads are built.
