Haïti Consolidated Appeals Process (CAP) - CARE Canada 2012 (en)

With CIDA support, CARE Canada is providing sanitation and hygiene services for families who were displaced following the 2010 earthquake and are now leaving the camps to move into transitional shelters that do not yet have access to latrines and showers. CARE Canada is constructing latrines, hand-washing stations and showers for 5,970 people, as well as setting-up community solid waste collection points and carrying-out hygiene awareness raising campaigns to benefit 25,000 people.
